California Dressage Society
San Luis Obispo Chapter
The California Dressage Society, formed in 1967, is a non-profit organization devoted to furthering interest in dressage. It is one of the largest dressage organizations in the nation with more than 3,500 individual members in its 31 Chapters and a rich history of equestrian sport on the West Coast.
The SLO-CDS is the Central Coast of California Subsidiary of the California Dressage Society. We were formed in 1970 and are an all volunteer non-profit organization on the Central Coast.
We have over 100 members from all areas of San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties. Riders' expertise range from Junior and Adult Amateur beginning riders at Intro Level to some of the finest Open Grand Prix riders in the country.
We typically put on 3-4 CDS rated shows throughout the year including the Central Regional Adult Amateur Competition which will be held in August of 2016 as the brand new Paso Robles Horse Park.

Dedicated to education, recognition of achievement, and promotion of dressage, USDF is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization with more than 30 different educational programs, 125 affiliate local or regional clubs and more than 2000 annual awards for excellence in competition.
